How do we transfer files up to our Web site or back down again to our hard drive? We need a file transfer client. WS_FTP Pro from www.ipswitch.com sells for $39.95 (the Internet download version). Upgrades cost about $10.00 each. WS_FTP is pretty straight-forward in its ease of use, and quite fast.

CuteFTP's user-friendly, Windows interface will have you transferring files in no time. Its dual-pane interface makes it easy to transfer files from your local PC to remote computers simply by dragging and dropping files from one side of your computer screen to the other. Price: $39.95, and you can purchase it from www.cuteftp.com.
