-----------------------------------------------------------

Setting Up Anonymous FTP:

  1. Enter your control panel and click on the Anonymous FTP icon.
  2. On the following page, click the button to install Anon FTP on your site.  Give the server about 10 to 15 minutes to perform the setup, then,
  3. FTP into your site, and look for the domainname-anonftp folder.  Double click it.
  4. Inside the folder, you will see two other folders, and a message file:
    incoming
    pub
    welcome.msg

Files that you want to place on the server for others to download, go in the pub folder.  Files that visitors upload to your site will go in the incoming folder.  The welcome.msg file is just that.  A welcome message.  You can modify that message to suit your needs by opening the file in NOTEPAD or another plain text editor and sending it back up to the server.
  5. The simplest way to allow access to others is to create an html page with links to the files. A sample link would look like the one below:

    ftp://www.yoursite.com/pub/filename.zip
